This module sets the foundation for your understanding of what it means to experience The Fear of Being Fabulous. We present many stories from our own lives demonstrating how the fear of being fabulous affected us. And while you might not necessarily recognize your own life in the specific scenarios presented, they might trigger memories or thoughts, especially if you think about the stories from a slightly different perspective. After all, the key to wisdom is to take a multi-perspective approach to all things.
At the end of the transcript you’ll find a list of the key questions that we ask you to reflect on during this presentation.

We’re often told that the key to change, success, and happiness is just to use positive thinking to change our mind. If that was true, why do most people find that positive thinking just doesn’t work?
In this module you’ll discover that Positive Thinking Is Not Enough. It’s our unconscious loyalties and unconscious allegiances that must be brought to the surface first.
Also near the end of this module Jim mentions another program we have called Breaking Through Resistance and we’re pleased to let you know that that program is included here as Module 9.

In this very special module we are being interviewed by Greg Thomas, the co-founder of the organisation Voices of Romance. As well as Greg’s questions, Greg asks us a number of questions sent in by members of his community.
As you listen to the many stories that we share with you, see how they may trigger deep feelings of familiarity in your own life. Not necessarily the same scenarios, but the general underpinning message of what might have happened in your life many years ago and how you’ve reacted as a result.
This session begins with Greg asking the question: “How do you know if you’re actually struggling with the fear of being fabulous?”

On this occasion we were the special guest speakers at the National Association of Baby Boomer Women, with the founder, Dotsie Bregel and we helped her audience flesh out their vision of what life is like “Beyond the Fear of Being Fabulous”. With that destination in mind, you’ll move forward almost effortlessly toward the experience of feeling the freedom to be fabulous.
During this session, we answer a number of questions sent in to us by Dotsie’s community. So as you listen to all of the questions and our answers and stories we invite you to see if they trigger any deep memories in your own life.
And at one point we talk about the benefits you’ll experience by listening to two of our other workshops—Overcoming the Fear of Being Fabulous and its companion program Overcoming Negative Head-Talk. We’re pleased to let you know that both of those modules are now part of this workshop as Module 4 and Module 11, respectively.

Once you’ve overcome the fear of being fabulous you then have the freedom to start your new fabulous life. You’ll wake up each day eager to move forward and build your fabulous life day-by-day.
So as you listen to the various stories and examples that follow, reflect on how something similar might be impacting your life as we guide you through your steps to freedom.
You’ll also discover how to recognize when that wonderful freedom has begun to enter your life. Then you’ll begin to feel what it’s really like to experience the Freedom to Be Fabulous.

In this module we are interviewed by the high profile Los Angeles Hand Analyst and Life Coach, Baeth Davis. We began by discussing what the fear of being fabulous is all about before covering the four main keys to a loving relationship. The session concluded with a couple of questions from the listening audience.

You’re alive and thriving, living what is deeply true and real for you.

In this module you can sit back and relax as we take you through a series of guided meditations or imaginings that will guide you through ways of breaking down any walls of resistance that you might be experiencing as you move forward in breaking free and allowing yourself to become truly fabulous.
These guided meditations will help you discover the four steps for breaking through any lingering resistance that you might be experiencing.
So do NOT listen to this module while you’re driving the car, or riding your bike, or engaged in any other activity that requires your attention.

This time we do the interviewing.
It was our great honor to interview our dear friend Nathaniel Branden who is known as the Father of the Self-Esteem Movement and as one of the world-class minds of the twentieth century. He’s the author of 20 books that have been published in 18 languages, selling over 4 million copies. There could be no better person to help us understand a little more about the important topic of self-esteem.

Negative head-talk, or negative self-talk is one of the greatest blocks to moving forward and becoming the truly fabulous person that you really are.
And so in this module you’ll hear many stories of how negative head-talk can adversely affect us all and we’ll guide you through some of the ways to get rid of it so you can live the life of your dreams.

You’ll discover that emotional baggage can be a curse because it lurks in the shadows of your awareness—running your life. And because it’s hidden, it has enormous power.
But as you’ll discover as you go through this module, emotional baggage can also be a blessing because when you pay attention to the signals that rise up as “baggage”, the care and concern you give to those old wounded parts of you will return rewards you haven’t even yet imagined.
